Both ways are great, but one may take longer than the other. If you're just starting out and you're just trying to get people to your site, it is generally a good idea to choose the first option. If you have a solid marketing plan in place, you may be able to use both. One way that you can get more traffic is by doing a search for keywords that are associated with your business or with your product. For example, if your business sells books you can search "books"writing books" as your main keyword phrase. Another thing to try is to find a blog that is related to your niche or business, and post comments to the blog. This can bring a lot of targeted traffic to your website. Another way that you can get targeted traffic to your website right now is to search around for popular keywords that are often searched on Google, Yahoo, or other major search engines. Once you find these popular keywords, you can post relevant comments about them in an effort to get more targeted traffic to your website. If you want to generate more traffic to your website right now, you can also join forums that are related to your niche. This is especially true if you are selling a service or a product. When you join the forum you can ask questions about your service or product and when someone posts an answer to your question you can either respond to the question or leave a signature box saying that you will be happy to answer any questions people might have. Getting targeted traffic to your website right now is not very difficult. It just takes a little bit of extra time and work to get the results that you want. Now you can start getting the traffic that you want to see.
