Introduction to article marketing looks to be the latest buzzword in internet marketing and SEO (Search engine optimization). There are many articles on this subject available to the general public, but they all basically say the same thing to make money online by writing content on specific topics for the purpose of making money from search engines such as Google, MSN, and Yahoo. I've had many people ask me what is article marketing? Why does it seem to be so popular nowadays? The reason that I like article marketing is that it is free to create articles. It is also very easy to get traffic to these articles by posting your own articles to article directories. If you can get some back links to your articles, you will have a very high probability of being listed in the search engines. This can generate you some instant traffic, which means sales! So how do you start an online business with this concept? The first thing you need to do is to build a list of subscribers. This can be done by offering your services or products to the community or by participating in forums or discussion groups. You don't have to use a product to sell, but it is important to build a list of potential customers to make your online business grow. You should also include a good sales page on your website so that visitors can learn more about your products. I recommend using pay per click advertising. After building a list of subscribers, you can start creating content on your websites. These articles should include useful information to your visitors. You will also want to write at least one informational articles about each of your products, which will allow your readers to learn more about you and your company. These articles should also contain keywords that will help you rank higher in the search engines. You can use these keywords to market your products on various social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Once your articles have been published on your website or in article directories, you want to optimize them for search engines. The best way to do this is to submit the articles to a directory, such as EzineArticles, that has a reputation for submitting quality articles to article directories. Submit your articles to the directory with your website link in the resource box at the bottom of each article. If you have a web hosting account, you can optimize your articles with a free article directory and post your articles to the article directory. Make sure that you put your URL to your website and to your other websites in the title, body and anchor text to help your articles appear in the search engines for the appropriate keywords. Include as many keywords as you can in your titles and keywords in your author bio. Once you've written the articles and optimized them for search engines, you'll have a lot of traffic flowing through to your website, and then you can start getting paid from the search engines!
