What's The Myth Of 101 Ways To Market Your Website?

If you have read some of my articles, you will know that I am a firm believer of the 1001 ways to make money online. While I am not going to go into detail about all of them, I am going to talk about The Myth Of 101 Ways To Market Your Website. This is simply not true.

It is unfortunate that so many people still believe that they can get rich selling on the Internet. While it is certainly possible to make money selling products on the Internet, most people who try and do it end up failing because they do not learn how to effectively promote their business and instead just dump their hard earned money down the drain trying to generate a quick buck.

In this article, I will discuss what the "101 Ways" are and why they are not the way to go when it comes to making money online. After reading this article, you should be able to differentiate between a person who is telling you about the "101 ways" and the person who is telling you about making a website and doing some promotion on it.

Many people believe that if they can just go out there and create a website and get some traffic to their site, then they will be able to make some money online. This is not true. There are so many things that you need to do in order to make it work. If you are looking to make some money on the Internet, it is important to do all of the proper research that you can to determine what methods are going to work for your business. You cannot simply jump in head first and expect to make money without doing the proper research.

Another reason that you do not want to focus on creating a website and expecting to make money online is because you are doing yourself a disservice. When people think about making money online, they automatically think about marketing and advertising and I have no problem with that, but what you need to concentrate on is how you are going to market your business. You want to target the right market and get your message out there in front of the correct audience so that they will make a purchase.

If you truly want to make money on the Internet, you have to make sure that you educate yourself as much as possible about it. Learn everything there is to know about the Internet marketing so that you can maximize your profits. Once you have the information at hand, you will be able to put all of the myths to rest and understand that your job as an Internet marketer is to get the word out about your products and services so that others will have the chance to buy from you.
